Children are one of the most valuable assets of any country and their future citizens. They advance the country and the society. According to our 2001 national census, 35% of individuals are below 14 years and 41% are below 18 years of age in India. A human child from his/her very innocent and helpless childhood is eligible to attain full humanity through proper education and nurturing. The base of the entire society appears weak if there is any deficiency in education and nourishment of the children. We have to concentrate in the issues related with the children especially poor health and hygiene, malnutrition, family violence and abuses, lack of opportunity for education, sports or being in close association with nature and child labour.
