Teaching is the process of attending to people’s needs, experiences and feelings and intervening so that they learn particular things and go beyond the given. Currently, the words ‘teaching’ and ‘teacher’ are closely associated with schooling and schools only. However, truly speaking Education is the manifestation of perfection already present in man as defined by Swami Vivekananda. Our education system has been restricted only to memory and marks based rat-race with little or no focus on human values and ethics; as such we are limited to only the materialistic exploitation of education. We put no focus on extracurricular activities, sports, music, spirituality and philosophy for overall development of individuals. Our aim has been to explore the weakness of modern education systems, critically analyze the loopholes and provide long term, sustainable solutions based on our collective, coordinated and engaging workshops based on traditional Non-Formal Education strategies and methods.
