Culture of Happiness

Culture is that complex entirety that includes knowledge, trust, morality, ethics, law, custom, taboo; and the possible integration, assimilation, absorption and adoption of different human values. The Indian civilization is approximately 8,000 years old and it has a written history of 2,500 years. Some of the socio-cultural elements of this country like religion, Yoga, food, dress, jewels, arts and crafts, and music have left lasting impressions around the globe. Humans cannot survive without creating cultural values, it is his/her nature gifted characteristic feature which has separated him/her from other animals and has made him/her as a truly human. Human being is both the creator of culture and its own creation. Therefore, for the purpose of knowing ourselves better we need to know our culture in depth. The traditional Indian cultural practices and Indian philosophy as well as traditional education still has numerous elements that can be adopted and integrated into our modern lives and livelihoods for a much better, happier and prosperous life. We wish to conserve this traditional culture for the betterment of the human society.
