Environment has always been an important constituent of our life. Currently, our green planet has confronted monumental challenges as a consequence of various anthropogenic activities impacting our natural ecosystems, food chains and food webs as well as the quality of our life around the globe. Hence, we need to learn to coinhabit this planet with other species sustainably and use our natural resources judiciously. The indiscriminate over exploitation of Mother Nature for our selfish needs are cumulatively damaging the planet. Hence, as a responsible member of the human society we have to answer to our next generations about both our actions as well as inactions. We all need to act now to save our planet, ecosystems, forests and wildlife as well as our global biodiversity.
The global Climate Change, loss of forests and biodiversity, loss of soil and agricultural productivity, anthropogenic pollution, over population, and unscientific exploitation of our natural resources beyond the carrying capacity of the corresponding terrestrial, aquatic (freshwater and marine) and arboreal ecosystems are pushing several species slowly towards extinction; and reducing our agricultural and industrial outputs. Furthermore, global geopolitics, political instability, economic fluctuations, pocket wars and the recent pandemic have impacted developed, developing and under developed nations across the globe. It is therefore important for us to work together on a common platform under the present circumstances to the best of our ability to educate and make people aware of the impeding global environmental crises. Thus Byanjanbarna Foundation has started working towards raising environmental education and awareness and promoting efforts for conservation of our natural resources through our dedicated seminar, symposia, workshops, Near to Nature camps and activities related to environmental conservation and protection. We humbly request all of you to join our effort and make this movement stronger at the ground level.
