Guidelines for Abstract Submission:
Abstracts are invited in not more than 250 words on the above sub-themes from academicians,
educationists, teachers, scholars, librarians, policy makers, research scholars and students.

  1. All abstracts will be peer reviewed and evaluated before final acceptance. Bengali and
    English both languages will be accepted.
  2. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit and present their seminal work at
    the Seminar. The authors of accepted abstracts authors will be informed in due time over
    email.
  3. After the Seminar, only selected Papers will be published in an Edited Volume based on
    the recommendations of the Expert Committee. Post seminar we will inform the selected
    authors to submit their full length papers will be intimated over email.
  4. The abstract and the final submission must be typed in Times New Roman, with font size
    12 and 1.5 line spacing.

    Date of Seminar: 28 th and 29 th November, 2022 Time: 10.30 am – 5:30pm
    Registration Fees: Rs. 1000/- only For Academicians, Educationists, Policy Makers,
    University/College/School Faculty Members, Librarians, Research Scholars , Post Doctoral
    Fellows; and UG/PG Students. Registration will be done on the spot during the Seminar.
    How to reach:
    About Alipurduar: Nestled in the foothills of the mighty Himalayas, on the banks of the Kaljani
    River,is the gateway to Bhutan and the Northeast, better known as Alipurduar. Alipurduar is
    located in the Dooars region of West Bengal. This town is nature lovers heaven, surrounded by
    looming mountains, lush greenery and gushing rivers. Spectacular views, rare flora and fauna are

probably the reasons why people come flocking to this little town. It also serves as an elephant
corridor between two other eco-tourist forest areas, Chilapata and Jaldapara.
The city is well connected through road, rail and air.
By Air: – Nearest airport is Bagdogra International Airport. The distance from Bagdogra to
Bhatibari is 168 km. It can be travelled either by train or bus.
By Railway – Alipurduar is well connected to all the nearby districts and states by railways via
two major railway stations: (i) Alipurduar Junction (APDJ) (ii) New Alipurduar (NOQ). The
distance from Alipurduar to Bhatibari is 17km. Shared auto service is available.
By Road: – Alipurduar is also well connected to all the districts and States by National
Highways.
